To my front-line physician colleagues, I stand alongside you during this COVID-19 pandemic. This is a war against a contagious and invisible enemy. We need to have the right armour and ammunition to protect us and so we can fight back. This includes adequate supply of PPE and ventilators while rapidly scaling our testing and bed capacity. I commit to helping sound the alarm and applying the necessary pressure on stakeholders to ensure the safety of doctors. During this challenging time, I also commit to fighting for income stabilization for affected members and proper remuneration for those risking their lives to take care of our patients.

I am running for President-elect because now, more than ever, we need to build on the OMA so that it can stand strong for doctors. I believe in ensuring that our organization understands, cares about and values the needs of frontline physicians. By making grassroots doctors the center of our focus, I will work my hardest every day to help continue the transformation of the OMA into an organization that truly has our backs.
